What is the GPS source for Skydemon when using SafeSky

To get information from SafeSky in to SkyDemon it is required to use ‘GDL90 Compatible Device’ when starting a flight in SkyDemon instead of ‘Use Location Service’.
Then you need to press ‘take-off’ in SafeSky to be able to continue in SkyDemon, otherwise it remains waiting for the GDL90 device.
When using ‘Use Location Service’ the heading indicating is also determined by the phones magnetic compass when not moving. But it is just pointing north when ‘GDL90 Compatible Device’ is active.
In SafeSky I have DISabled the option to use SafeSky as GPS source as recommended.
But which GPS data is now being used by SkyDemon, the one coming via ‘GDL90 Compatible Device’, meaning SafeSky, or directly the phone’s GPS.

My main worry is what will happen with the GPS data source when SafeSky looses the internet connection and can not provide traffic data via the GDL90 interface, would Skydemon then also loose its GPS source?
