Actually, that’s not true! You were concerned about GPS integrity. With Pilot aware you don’t have to worry about that - you get excellent GPS integrity. Safe Sky gets its info from Flight Radar 24 / Pilot Aware from Radar box . Both excellent and both great in UK and Europe. So with pilot aware Fx / iGrid you get Pilot Aware’s version of Safe Sky when you have mobile network. Same in uk and Europe. You get ADSB reception when available - actually better in Europe than UK because there are more ground stations in Europe. You get Pilot aware’s atom station network - better in uk than Europe. But given that Safe sky only works if you have mobile reception and the GPS is compromised. I’ll take the opportunity to receive ADSB / Atom station AND have iGrid And better GPS. The Fx option is an infinitely better solution.

What I have done to test this on the sofa:
- Start SafeSky
- Pressed Take-Off
- Phone in airplane mode
- Started Skydemon
- Pressed ‘Fly’ and GDL90 device in SkyDemon
The result:
- Navigation screen started normal
- Location was correct, speed was correct when walking
- Airplanes which were visible on SafeSky were for a short while visible in SkyDemon, but of course disappeared after a few seconds
Then I switched off airplane mode, so back to internet, the result was that planes reappeared in SkyDemon.
So it looks like loosing the internet connection does not disable position/speed updates from SafeSky to SkyDemon.
