I decided to go for the paid version to be able to integrate Safesky into my existing Skydemon /Stratux setup.
Both to get the benefit of Safesky traffic and to share my received traffic with others for the safety of everyone.
My setup runs on a single Samsung Active tablet with build in 3G network
But I must admit I have a hard time making it work. The integration to Skydemon seems to work OK. The received Safesky traffic is show along Stratux traffic just fine.
But when I try to share Traffic from Stratux to Safesky it goes wrong.
When I “Select an External Device” and connect Safesky to Stratux after about 10 secunds it says: “Lost connection with Stratux” would you like to “USE LOCATION SERVICE”.
Retry gives the same result.
I can agreed to “USE LOCATION SERVICE” and go on, but I assume that the traffic no longer is shared?
I’ve tried both with static Stratux IP address and auto discover without any luck.
Thanks for your message. Can you confirm that your Samsung device is on the same Wifi as your Stratux? Could you please share some screenshots of your configuration from SafeSky App?
The tablet is running in developer mode with mobile data always on. Otherwise safesky won’t connect to internet at the same time as the tablet is connected to Stratux wifi.
But I’ve also forced Safesky to use only mobile data, otherwise it is not connecting to internet, but tries to get data over wifi from stratux.
So as soon as I let safesky decide for it self to chose connection it tries over wifi and there is of course not data from Stratux, Makes sense?
