I used safesky and Skydemon. In the safesky app it looked like i was flying formation with myself. There were constant approx warnings for flying very close to another aircraft (myself). What did i do wrong?

had the same issue sole time ago.
In case you have cobnfigured multiple airplanes in Safesky check that you selected the right one 
.
Then you have to check if your Hex Code of the Transponder is set correctly in Safesky (and may be also in Skydemon). Then it should work.
