EVFR not recognising SafeSky REnewal

I have used SafeSky Premium with EVFR for around 3 years but every year when my SafeSky subscription renews it takes me ages (sometimes months) to get it working again. EVFR continues to show the old subscription end date and doesn’t recognise that it has been renewed. Each year, after fiddling with both apps I eventually get it working again but I have never understood what I have done to fix it! I seem to have tried all the things many time before with no success but then suddenly it starts working again. Any ideas? The ids I use for both are identical and I think the passwords are as well but less confident about this. It is driving me mad and ruining my EVFR/SafeSky experience which is normal brilliant.

I may have cracked it. I found an entry in the EFVR 4 forum suggesting that I go into SafeSky, change the Traffic Sharing option to None, then change it back to EVFR. This opened EVFR and although initial checks showed that it was still using the old SafeSky subscription end date, a few minutes later it corrected itself to show the new end date. It seems that if you have bought the SafeSky Premium subscription independently of EVFR, you have to do this to send the subscription end date to EVFR. Before EVFR recognised the new subscription end date I had also changed the EVFR settings to tell it to stop sharing it’s location with SafeSky then turned that back on again but I’m not sure if that was a necessary action or just coincidence that it updated the SafeSky subscription end date shortly after that. The main thing is that it is working. Now, where can I file this knowledge for next year?!?
