Disconnect due to multiple devices

Today, for the first time I encountered the following problem:

I have a phone and a tablet both with independent mobile Internet connection. I have been running Safesky on both devices and got several disconnects with the error message that it may not be used on multiple devices at the same time. I understand that you prevent “account sharing” but this should not prevent me from using the software on multiple devices while in the same aircraft!

To be honest, I was quite annoyed that I had to troubleshoot this kind of issue in flight!

I do not want to use one devices as master and share via Wifi mobile hotspot. I think it’s a good layer of redundancy to have the two devices work independently. Furthermore, data access via mobile hotspot did not work in the past with my devices.

Any feedback on this would be appreciated.

Edit: found another post on this but I am not allowed to put in links here. The post has the title “App stops working when flying with failover device”.

There, the feedback was that the error will be prevented from occurring when using two devices in close proximity.

However, the mentioned post is from Sep 2025, so the problem has come back.
