Hello, I suspect in your setup SafeSky is running the background, right? when you stop receiving traffic on SkyDemon, does returning to SafeSky and back again to SkyDemon recovers normally for a period?

Yes, after 5 minutes Traffic ist not shown in skydemon.

After switch to safesky an returning to skydemon traffic is shown for 5 minutes again.

And can you confirm if it’s only traffic that disappear in SkyDemon, or are you getting the “Waiting for device” banner?

Thank you for your continued support in investigating this issue.

Unfortunately, I must report that the problem persists. The traffic display in SkyDemon still stops after precisely five minutes. To restore the traffic display, I still need to switch to the SafeSky application and then return to SkyDemon, which then provides traffic information for another five minutes before stopping again.

This behavior remains consistent, and I am still experiencing the same difficulty as initially reported.

Thank you for your feedback and for letting me know that you were also able to reproduce the problem and are working on a short-term solution. That’s very good news.

To clarify the symptoms, I’d like to confirm again that when the traffic disappears after exactly five minutes, I don’t receive any banner message, such as “Waiting for Device,” in SkyDemon. The traffic simply vanishes completely from the display.

It’s important to mention that the GPS functionality, i.e., the display of my position in SkyDemon, remains active and working during this time. It’s really only the traffic that is no longer displayed while SafeSky is running in the background.

I look forward to the update soon to resolve this issue.

auf meinem iPad mini 5 tritt folgendes Problem auf: Nach kurzer Zeit meldet SkyDemon „device lost“. Im Hintergrund stürzt SafeSky ab. Nach einem Neustart von SafeSky kann ich wieder zu SkyDemon zurückschalten und die Verbindung funktioniert vorerst wieder.

Haben Sie einen Lösungsvorschlag für dieses Problem?
