Dear safesky users and support goeroes. It still happens that I see a plane flying very close to me, which happens to be the plane that I fly in.
I have ofcourse configured this plane in safesky, I have selected a Mode-S transponder and the Hex code is inserted.
Any suggestions how to solve this?
I assume that you have checked the HEX code you entered in SafeSky is correct and matches what you programmed into your Mode S transponder?
If so, do you have any other transmitting equipment like FLARM in your aircraft?
Today I flew a different plane. Same problem.
I have only a Mode-S transponder in both planes, nothing else,
To clarify the picture. I was flying the PH-RGJ. And it shows correctly on downwind.
With a second plane besides me, which is also the PH-RGJ.
Robert,
Can you please confirm that your HEX code is 486748 and is correctly programmed into the Safesky app?
Robert

Hi Antony
For the PH-RGJ (Sonaca S200) I entered the Hex code 9E8DD2
and for the PH-MSA (C172) 3D06FD
Do you think these codes are not correct?
Thanks for helping
Robrt
Hello Robert,
When I search for those registrations using ADS-B EXCHANGE I get different hex codes.
For RGJ: 486748
For MSA: 4866EB
Try those next time.
Where are you getting your hex codes from?

Hello @Robert ,
I confirm what @tnowak spotted: here are your correct Mode-S hex codes:
Once entered in SafeSky, you will no longer have duplicates for yourself.
Fly Safe, and thanks @tnowak

For RGJ: 486748
For MSA: 4866EB
Excuse me. For other planes: can you please explain where to find the correct HEX codes?
Best regards, Robert

Hello,
In the UK I go to the Civil Aviation Authority register of aircraft. You enter the registration of the aircraft and it lists all details, including the HEX code.
I expect you have something similar in your country?
