General mistake while using Aerotracker with Skydemon?

Hi Aerotracker users,

My device have arrived yesterday. I bought the Safesky Premium Plan to get the device connected. Within Safeskay, everything seems to work fine, but I dont see amy traffic in Skydemon. The Aerotracker is connected via bluetooth, When I put Skydemon in Flight mode, I choose the Aerotracker as a source for GPS data. I‘ve set the traffic filter up to 30000ft, but I don‘t see any traffic….

I guess, I make something general wrong…

Any ideas?

Hi Peter,

First of all, are you testing at home ? The AeroTracker needs to be outside to work well, you can monitor that connection quality in both the external devices list and in radar view, as shown on the screenshots below.

Also, if the Tracker is not moving, after approximately 10 minutes the LTE data connection stops. This means you will only then receive air to air ADS-B and FLARM signals.

Just power cycle the Tracker to get the LTE connection working again for home testing.

meanwhile, I tested the Aerotracker in flight and it seems, that everything is ok. I also got a bearingless target. So now I have to get used to it…:+1:
