Problems with SkyDemon on Samsung S23

Hello

I use SafeSky with SkyDemon on Ipad and Samsung S23.

Since today the S23 always- looses connection to device’ in SD

On the Ipad everything works without problems.
what can be the problem?

This issue might be related to Android’s battery management settings.

today i figured out the same problem, on 2 different Android devices.

my last flight was on 2. Sep 2024 without any issues.

today gps signal stopped working (after a few Seconds) in skydemon, in safesky gps work with no problem.

i switched in skydemon to gps only from device with no problems. looks for me, signal forwarding stops

but i have the battery settings to no restrictions

any Suggestion?

Hi there, I have exactly the same issue since my Samsung Tab 7 Lite was updated to One-UI 6.1 a few days ago. When Safesky loses focus, the GDL90 data seems to work for 60 seconds and then SD reports “Device connection lost”
If I give SafeSky the focus for a second, SD sees the data again for 60 seconds.
Looks like Samsung changed something and broke the background data !!

I have posted on the Samsung help forum, but I’m not holding my breath for a sensible reply.

i use Xiaomi devices, i guess since last safesky update maybe?

I discovered that the update had reset my Location permissions for Safesky from “Always” to “When using the app” but even changing that back to “always” didn’t fix it.
When was the last SafeSky update?

Last Update to 3.0.13 was on 17. Sep.
my last flight on 2. sep was without issues…

Hello, it seems that Android users are experiencing some problems with the latest Android update.

We are working on this issue to resolve it.

The update is now available from the Google Play Store as 3.0.14.
