Double echo Aero Tracker with SkyDemon

I have tested the new Aero Tracker with Safesky and a double echo appears, but only in SkyDemon and only with the Aero Tracker. Any thoughts how to solve it?

Thank you in advance for your inputs!

Sometimes caused by misconfigured FLARM, if aircraft transmitting Mode S as well. Can you post a screenshot?

Actually, I found the answer. —> SkyDemon was not properly configured. The transponder hex code has to be entered in SkyDemon for each plane (like Safesky).

Thanks, and well spotted

Hi Tristan,
My opinion is that it’s a very useful information that you should add in the Aero Tracker documentation when pairing with SkyDemon.

In particular, when you use SkyDemon and safesky without the aero tracker, there is no double echo as soon as the hex code is properly filled in SafeSky (hex code in SkyDemon does not matter). With the aero tracker, it’s reversed as you are not using the data from SafeSky, but from the Aero tracker directly and the double echo has to be removed by SkyDemon. At least, that’s my interpretation of the behavior of both setups.
