So, flying with SafeSky on IOS 26.6 and using SkyEcho2 as well. Mid-flight for some reason, SafeSky app stopped working.
I killed the application and restarted it. However, clicking the *‘I agree’ ***on the Disclaimer page did nothing, it did not go into the main screen. ↠ This happened multiple times.
One time, it went to the main page, but clicking** 'Take-off’also gave the same problem. Nothing happens.
So, left it alone, after landing, rebooted the whole phone and seems to work. No updates were pending.
++ Improvement suggestion:
Right now, one has to click the black aircraft icon that opens up the aircraft page to select and then click Take-off. Can we make it simpler? E.g.
Click Take-off > Pop-up with shortened list of aircraft > Click aircraft > Goes into take-off mode.
I would check the battery usage configuration for Safesky. Had this issue while ago but that was for my android tablet - might be different for your IOS tablet/phone
So, the app version is 3.0.35 (567) (Disclaimer: I noticed a tiny blue dot today), so don’t know if there was an update from the other day)
@Bernhard , nah, there are no individual power settings per app that I recall/ know on the iPhone and low-power was not in use (don’t use that in flight)
My android tabled/phone provides battery power configuration such as " power save" . For each app such as SafeSky the power usage can be configured as " unrestricted " , " optimized " and " restricted" but as you say this config. feature does not exsist in your device.
