# SafeSky from iPhone to iPad

My iPad does not have a Sim.
My iPad is connected to my iPhone as a hotspot (the symbol is the two links of a chain, not the Wi-Fi symbol).
SafeSky is running on the iPhone.
SkyDemon is running on the iPhone on GDL90, and works.
I would expect to be able to run SkyDemon on the iPad on GDL90, and see traffic, but it just says “searching for device“.
Is such a thing possible, or am I setting my expectations too high?

I’ve always had better luck running the traffic source on a device that is not the access point. I suspect that the apps can exchange information directly and then don’t use the WiFi. I think if you run safesky on the iPad instead of on the iPhone, the traffic will be visible to Skydemon on both devices. No guarantees.
